Eligiblity Criteria

Eligibility Criteria For B.Tech(4 Year)Course:

Candidates applying for (B.Tech 4 years) Course should fulfill the following criteria.

  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination on or before 2011-2012 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2011 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 year) course of the University OR Diploma holders including those appearing for final examination having 50% marks in aggregate from SCTE & VT, Orissa or equivalent are eligible for admission to first year Engg. / Technology courses and they have to appear in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics paper in Joint entrance Examination.

  • Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling / college.

  • A Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with a minimum average of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

  • Age Limit: Wherever there is no age limit for taking admission as per the Government of Orissa norms. Centurion University will not be responsible for any regulation of service where such requirement for age exists.

The candidate should take admission at his / her own risk as regards to age.

Eligibility Criteria For 2nd Year B.Tech Courses:

Lateral Entry ( 3 Years) : Pass in three years diploma course in Engineering with at least 50% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education & Training of any state OR Pass or appearing in 2011 , for the Bachelor's Degree examination of three years duration in Science from any University of India or equivalent recognized by UGC and have passed with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate ( IInd division) with Mathematics at +3 level. Results of final diploma examination must be available on the date of counseling .

Candidates whose results are not available on the day of counseling , will not be allowed to participate . There is no reservation of seats in various categories in lateral entry to degree engineering / Technology Courses. The entry to the programme will be based on the marks obtained in the eligibility qualification.

Admission Process For MBA

The students can either use the online admission form down loaded from the web site or use the admission form provided along with this brochure.

Eligibility Criteria For MBA (2 Years)Course :-

Pass or appearing in 2011 for the Bachelor's Degree examination in any discipline from any University of India or equivalent recognized by UGC. There is no age limit to for admission to MBA course. Those appearing for the final year examinations may also apply provided they will complete all the course work by July,2011 and get their certificates by December,2011.

Candidates should have qualified in any of the nationally accepted entrance tests like CAT/XAT/MAT/ CET of states. Preference of candidates will be in the order of the tests mentioned. In case of tie, the marks obtained in graduation will be taken into consideration. Reservation of seats will be as per statutory rules effective at the time of admission.
